Construction Begins on Anhui University Science Park PV Project Toyon Energy Implements Green-Powered Green Manufacturing to Build a Green Industrial Closed-Loop
Construction has officially commenced on the photovoltaic (PV) project at the Anhui University Science Park. Located at the campus R&D building—home to Anhui Yuanzhou Green Carbon Technology Co., Ltd.—the project utilizes a "self-generation and self-consumption" model with no grid feed-in. Equipped with anti-backflow devices, it meets the building's daily electricity needs and ensures a stable supply of green power.

This project aligns closely with the national strategy of "green-powered green manufacturing." In 2025, the National Energy Administration’s Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Integrated Development of New Energy explicitly called for accelerating the new energy industry chain and adopting "green-powered green manufacturing." The core concept is to drive green manufacturing using green electricity, thereby creating a closed-loop system where green products are produced using green power. As a subsidiary of Tongyuan Environment specializing in CO₂ resource utilization, Yuanzhou Green Carbon focuses on converting CO₂ emissions from power and cement plants into high-value chemicals such as syngas, propylene carbonate, and methanol. By powering R&D and production with green electricity, this PV project enables low-carbon operations from the source, serving as a vivid example of the national strategy in action.

Upon completion, the project will deliver significant benefits to Yuanzhou Green Carbon. Operationally, it reduces electricity costs and enhances energy autonomy. Strategically, it achieves "dual carbon reduction"—helping clients reduce emissions while greening its own energy consumption—thereby boosting market competitiveness and green brand value, while laying the groundwork for carbon trading and green supply chain initiatives.

As the new energy division of Tongyuan Environment Group, Toyon Energy has accumulated extensive experience through projects such as the Anhui Dongyi 2.08 MWp PV-plus-storage project, the Funan County "PV-storage-charging" demonstration project, and the Bengbu Dafu Technology 7.08 MWp PV project.
